Most say the Mossberg 930 SPX has FTE issues and that the Remington 1100 is superior. I have held a 1100 at a gunshop but not the Mossy SPX. Thus far kinda leaning toward the Remington.

WebJan 17, 2012 · What you have is a Mossberg 930 Breacher. That particular model ONLY holds 4+1 ... so, 4 in the mag tube and 1 in the chamber. With a +2 extension installed, you are now ONLY 6+1 ... exactly how many you are getting in the tube.
